288101Turn by circling the Asthall roundabout, past the exit to the A40, the entrance from that road and the junction with the B4047 to take the third exit back onto the A40 eastbound past the P sign on the corner. (Check).5.526
Proceed eastwards on the A40 past the slip road from the Brize Norton and Minster Lovell (Care of traffic entering from the left) Continue past the exit to Central Witney and A415 junction slip road (Care of traffic leaving to the left) and cross the bridge over that junction. Pass the end of the slip road from that junction. (Care of traffic entering from the left) Finish at a drain where the next metal barrier first attains its full height, about 25 yards east of and beyond a green “A40” sign on the verge.5.595
The finishing point is behind a barrier at which there is no room for the parking of a car. The District Committee has ruled that the course may only be used if a suitable shelter for the finish timekeeper is provided. Consequently a shelter has been purchased from the proceeds of the sale of some of the late Chris Hart’s cycling equipment: the shelter is known as the Hart Hut.
